Mickey & Minnie Wedding Favors

The "Mickey and Minnie" theme is quite popular for weddings. Unfortunately it can be really hard to find nice but inexpensive Mickey and Minnie wedding favors. Part of the problem is that these items must be licensed by Disney, which keeps the prices high. Here are a few ideas:

Check out DisneyOutlet.com for small closeout Mickey items that would make good favors. The best categories to check are "Seasonal," "For the Home" and "Collectibles." They often have things like small Mickey & Minnie picture frames, Mickey Christmas ornaments, etc. Be sure to use a coupon code to save on your order!

Mickey Head Cookie Cutter Favors - Disney sells metal cookie cutters in the shape of Mickey heads. Slide a cookie cutter into a cellophane bag (see the do-it-yourself favor sources page for places to get the bags), tie with a ribbon and you have a fun favor. These can only be purchased in the theme parks, or by calling Walt Disney World's Mail Order Department at (407) 363–6200 and ordering over the phone with your credit card. The cutters cost $5 each and measure approximately 5 1/4" wide by 4 1/2" high. There are two colors: red (SKU #14811260) and blue (SKU #14867126).

Mickey Antenna Ball Favors - A huge variety of Mickey antenna balls are sold in the theme parks, so you can pick one appropriate to the season if you want. Put one in a cellophane bag (see the do-it-yourself favor sources page for places to get the bags) and tie with a ribbon for an easy favor. These can only be purchased in the theme parks, or by calling Walt Disney World's Mail Order Department at (407) 363–6200 and ordering over the phone with your credit card. Retail price is $4 each.

Chocolate Covered Mickey Pretzel Favors - Disney sells boxes of large (approximately 3"-4" across) chocolate covered pretzels in the shape of Mickey heads. Slide a pretzel into a cellophane bag (see the do-it-yourself favor sources page for places to get the bags), tie with a ribbon and you're all set. This is an inexpensive and yummy option, but unfortunately the chocolate covered pretzels can only be purchased in the Disney theme parks. Disney will not allow you to order them by phone due to the danger of melting during shipment. The upshot is, if you want to make these favors you'll have to bring along your bags and ribbon, buy the pretzels after you arrive, and assemble the favors in your hotel room.
